i have only been taking the pill for 9 days me and my husband had sex we used a condom but some sperm got out am i protected or there chances that i could be pregnant ??? do i take an extra pill ???
You are protected with the pill. There is no need for anything else. Never take more pills then your daily pill. And don't add plan B to it at all. As long as you take the pill correctly you are protected.
Once you have had seven consecutive days of active pills, you are 98-99.9% protected as long as you keep taking one pill a day at roughly the same time of day. You do not need condoms unless you prefer to use them as back up protection (if you tend to forget pills it is not a bad idea to use condoms as back up) Condoms with birth control pills is for STD protection and for back up use after a missed pill only. Your birth control pill provides the contraception. It is a choice to use condoms if you are in a monogamous relationship, unless you miss a pill and you need them for back up protection. Just FYI.
