I have been taking 40-60mg hydrocodone every day for 5 years due to a torn achilles and botched surgery. I have been off for 5 full days. At the end of the 5th day, I took 5mg because the pain was so bad. Will this cause my withdrawals to start over from day one?
rdmc; In most case's no it would not but everyone reacts differently the best you can do if you feel anything that was even close to the withdrawal ignore it. Physically you are no longer dependent but mentally we can make big differences to our thinking until your off for a longer period of time But what I would do is talk to the doctor and find out what you can take when you are having a really bad day. After all, you have been through you don't want to take any chances. You will be fine
