I want to get off this stuff as soon as possible but I don't want to be all sketched out.
Honestly, I doubt it, but you might. The longer that you take something, the more likely it is that you'll have withdrawals. The quicker acting the drug, also the more likely. So, if it was Xanax, I'd say that there's a better chance of withdrawals, Valium, much less of a chance, but Ativan at around 5mg, and that's considered around an average dosage with a half life of 9 to 16 hours which is pretty long. I'd be betting that you'll be just fine. If you do have any withdrawals, they'll probably be pretty minimal.

My doctor wanted me to stay on the Ativan for two weeks. Will I have bad withdrawals if I stop aftr?
