When I went to see him last month he cut them down to 30 a month instead of 60. When I got them filled I noticed. it said twice daily. which is only half of the month. I am gonna call today but I need to know what to do. I do have seizure without them and I'm out as of today. please let me know if he can do this
sherri - you should have taken them as directed while you got this worked out, then you would not be running short. Cutting down does NOT mean seizures, cutting off, maybe. Call them ASAP, but don't be surprised if either you are denied more till refill time, or if they just give you enough to take 2 daily.
Sherri ~ That is terrible for your doctor to do that, but it sounds as if he made a mistake writing the prescription. If I were you, I would call his office and explain to the nurse what you have told us. They will probably write you another prescription for the other 30 to last you till next month. It just doesn't make sense to give you 30 pills and instruction to take twice daily...
If this ever happens in the future, don't delay! Call your doctor's office right away and tell them what happened. That way you won't have an emergency on your hands.
Good luck with this, please let us know what happens.
