... what anti anxiety could be taken with these to drugs? thanks, My GP is very lazy, I asked him what I could also go on to help with my anxiety as I'm pretty much a recluse and he said I'm not sure what could be taken with the meds you are on.
Why not see a psychiatrist. They're the specialists in this. Your dr is lazy, its easy to find out what med would be ok, if he doesn't have references he can call a pharmacist and ask. Most of the interactions are to the seroquel. Klonopin would be worth a try, it can make the side effects of dizziness and confusion worse with seroquel, but you can't know if it will do that for you. My question is why are you on the seroquel?
He may be over his head, giving you both of these without referral to a psychiatrist concerns me.
A psychiatrist is the best route if you are already on these 2 meds and they aren't helping. PCP offer a wide range of care so they know a little about a lot but a psychiatrist specializes in the treatment of anxiety/stress, ADD/ADHD,Bipolar just to mention a few.. Just my thoughts though
