... here ever try 2 a day ??? Just wondering... Ones good,, maybe two is even gooder..lol for the spelling, I know it's better but have to go for the humor sometimes.. But I'm serious about hearing from anyone who may have tried it just to find out w/o talking to the doc
I started with 30mg a day. It did help just a little. I talked to my doctor and we decided to up my dosage to 60mg a day and added visteril which helped even more. I know you may not feel the need to talk to your doctor before increasing your dosage but it would be wise to consult with your doctor first just to be safe. 60mg helps much better. Good luck.
Its my 5th day and im taking 2 x 20 mg twice a day not feeling anything yet but i do think its vital we keep in contact on the site on things like this so we know each others progress how receptive we are to the medication, have a chat to your GP im lucky in Birmingham i can rely on a mental health team Jag John
Two things can happen when you adjust your medication without the help or advice of your doctor. One, you will run out of your meds sooner than intended and will need to go back to your doctor for more. Two, Your doctor will know that you aren't following his advice, and will be reticent to prescribe for you in the future. It's a lose/lose situation. Follow your doctors instructions. If you don't trust him, or don't think he is helping you, find a new doctor. But don't go the self medication route.
