... my doc forever to figure out what is wrong with me. It's going to be another 2 months before I can get in to see a specialist. Rapid weight gain, hair loss, terrible swelling in feet-legs-limp nodes. I hurt all over my body. How do you deal with this?
Hi goodcook74. I am sorry to hear the doctor's took a long time to diagnose your disease.
Lots of rest, simple healthy food, more fresh vegetables and fruit.
Walk. Early morning or late evenings. I feel it helps loosen my joints and being outside is therapeutic (for me).
Sleep. When you need to. Or simply stop give yourself a break.
This is my 12th year dealing with lupus. And while I did fairly well the last 10, last year proved to be very challenging. I think stress plays a major factor with flares.
How old are you? How long have you been experiencing symptoms? What has the doctor's prescribed till you see the specialist?
