Switching from hydrocodone to oxycodone what is the best and strongest form?

Doug9494; Yes the Oxycodone is the stronger of the two and should do the job. Plus you don't have any acetaminophen 325mg in it which is better for your kidneys or liver and should do a better job to control your pain. Many people get confused because of the milligrams but we are talking about 2 different drugs here so you can't match the milligrams it is like an apple to a potato two different things but the Oxycodone 5 mg would for sure be stronger than the Hydrocodone 10, So be aware of this and unless the doctor said something different Don't mix these 2 medications. hope this helps out and you get to feeling better
