Been on nasal spray, .01%, for 27 years with no problems & was prescribed pill form of 0.2 and told to split them in half, take one at night. My question is will a half pill give me 24 hrs protection, when I previously took one spray twice a day. The pills don't come in lighter dosage, am I better off going back to nasal spray?
I am currently taking the nasal spray and i found that a runny nose can cause a lot of problems because the medication just drips back out of my nose. I also take one spray twice a day, but when had to switch to a tablet because of a surgery, i was taking 1.5 tablets twice per day.
I was on .01% nasal spray. 2 sprays twice a day for over 20 years. I switched to tablets for a few years .2 mg. I had to take 1 tablet every 4 hours. The spray lasted 12 hours for me and the pill only lasted about 4 hours. I then tried the spray at night & pills during the day. I am now back on the spray day & night
