My pack. Am i covered right away? Also, I continuously took the pill for 3 months without a break with the placebo pills but have been on the pill for 4 years. Just wanna know if it's effective right away.
This is what the Manufacturer (Pfizer) say:
'When switching from other contraceptive methods, MPA intramuscular should be given in a
manner that ensures continuous contraceptive coverage based upon the mechanism of action of both methods, (e.g., patients switching from oral contraceptives should have their first injection of MPA within 7 days after taking their last active pill).
*MPA stands for medroxyprogesterone acetate, which is the other name for Depo Provera
