So this might get confusing but i was on Yaz for about a year. Then my doctor retired. So until we could get an appointment for a new birth control I got a month pack of Yazmen but there was about a 2 week break until I actually started yazmen. I took that until my new doctor put me on Lo Loestrin. The same day I took my first pill of Loestrin, my boyfriend and I had sex and the condom broke. The next day I took the plan b because we were both freaking out. I just kept taking the pills as normal. My boy friend thought plan b and bc canceled each other out but I have no clue. And I wanted to know the side effects of doing what I did. And if there's any chance of pregnancy because of all the switching pill brands.
You should not have taken the plan b. You only switched from one to the other without a break, so you were protected. You have allot of hormones in your body now and your cycle may get weird, like spotting and delayed or no period this month. The next time your boyfriend wants to offer opinions on you and hormones, come here and check before you take anything. How are they going to cancel each other, they do the same thing. You just have a whopping dose of hormones now and will suffer side effects from it. Keep taking your pill and it will straighten out. And remember, as long as you are taking your pill correctly, you do not need plan B.
