He can't take me off of it because of my heart, and he can't increase my water pill because it may damage my kidneys so I'm in a no-win situation, but at 78 yrs. old I guess I shouldn't complain.
Are you wearing compression stockings? There are several degrees of compression, as well as knee high or thigh high. You put them on very first thing in the morning and they keep your legs from swelling. Also see a vascular surgeon. They can close off all the exterior veins in your legs. The valves become faulty with age, being overweight, etc. They leave you with the one very large vein in your leg, and the arteries to supply blood. The procedure is very easy, and painless. Don't accept feeling bad because of your age. There is still a lot that can be done. - ElizaJane
