I take Wellbutrin XL & Depakote, both twice daily.
I suppose too much sweating is " too much " when it starts affecting your everyday life.
Call your health care provider if you have:
* Prolonged, excessive, and unexplained sweating
* Sweating with or followed by chest pain or pressure
* Sweating with weight loss
* Sweating that most often occurs during sleep
* Sweating with fever, weight loss, chest pain, shortness of breath, or a rapid, pounding heartbeat - these symptoms may be a sign of an underlying disease, such as hyperthyroidism
I have hyperhidrosis. I sweat all over. especially if it gets hot. When it gets to the point where people ask you if you have dunked you head into water that's usually that's when you're sweating too much. Also it's common for people to sweat under their armpits. This can easily be corrected with a prescription called Drysol. You can get that prescription from your Dermatologist. As far as preventing and fixing hyperhidrosis it's pretty much not an option. I have to live with it my whole life. There are Oral medcations that can be taken to see if that can control your sweating such as Oxybutynin and Glycopyrrolate which did nothing for me. If you sweat when you're suppose to sweat like when you working out, get nervous, run, do something that demands physical exercise that's all normal. I hope that helps. Let me know if I can answer any other of your questions. Good Luck!
