I did colonoscopy since I am 50, then doctor recommended barium enema and was told to get CT scan the other day. I was diagnosed as sigmoid volvulus and recommend to get surgery. But I do not have any symptoms like abdominal pain, back pain, nausea... My bowl movement is irregular since I was child. I have constipation once a while but not severe. Do I need to get surgery or any other option for this matter?
