I just had surgery on a hernia in my groin him in the right area. They made for incisions and ever since I've been conscious it is been difficult to hear i they made for incisions and ever since I've been conscious it is been difficult to pee. I have been able to pee it just takes awhile it's a little bit at a time. Doctor said its do to swelling and as long as I can pee to not worry about getting a catheter. I just want to know if there's anyway to help me pee easier. Maybe muscle relaxers?
Sorry, due to the post surgical swelling you are suffering from the effects of a virtual full retention issue. I'm guessing here but nerves to your prostate may be affected temporarily due to surgical swelling and while you feel you may not be passing enough urine, nurses should be tabulating your urine out put 24 hourly to avoid issues like a full retention.
