Increased vivid nightmares on Lexapro — should I stop taking it?

I have been on Lexapro (5mg) for I believe 11 or 12 days now for anxiety and depression. I was previously on Zoloft for only 10 days and my psychiatrist had me switch due to some nasty side effects (I actually posted a question on here about that at the time too). Anyway, I’m on the Lexapro now and ... read more

I’m switching from Effexor XR to Zoloft. Any advice?

I have been on Effexor XR since August, so only 5 months, I’m currently at 112.5mg. My doctor wants me to drop down to 75mg starting today and start the Zoloft 50mg then in a week drop down to 37.5mg and then a week later stop the Effexor. From everything I’ve read this seems fast and like I will ha... read more

Should I stop Zoloft of wait this misery out? I've been on it for a few weeks now.

Started on 50 mg and had minimal side effects. Slept good, some diarrhea for about two days and better mood after a week but still some anxiety and agoraphobia. My doctor raised the dosage to 100 mg and that's what it all started. Severe insomnia and frequent diarrhea at least 3 times or more per... read more

Can Wellbutrin and caffeine interact negetively?

I’ve been on Zoloft for 3 years, and decided to reduce the dose due to weight gain. I went down a bit too far and had a recurrent episode because of changes happening in my life currently. I didn’t want to go all the way back to 150mg because of the weight issue. This brings me to the crux of this p... read more

I am on Zoloft, can I eat anything?

I know Zoloft might have an interaction with grapefruit. Is there any other food I should be aware of? I read that I have to be careful with chicken, chocolate, bananas, and avocado. But what does this exactly means? Does it mean I should avoid these foods? Or eating them together and too much of... read more

How long before you feel the effects of upping your Zoloft dose?

Hello! I have been on Zoloft 50mg since December. I recently was still struggling with postpartum OCD, so I upped my dose to 75mg. I just took my 4th dose at 75mg. Zoloft - How long did it take you until the depressive symptoms got better?

Hello :) I am 21 and I just started taking Zoloft two months ago. I started feeling better but then around week 5 had a panic attack and my doctor bumped me up to 100 mg almost 3 weeks ago. I already feel a lot better (a lot of my anxiety is gone but still there a little), however my depression has... read more

But I am on 25 mg and have been for over 3 weeks now. Shouldn’t these symptoms have subsided a little by now?

Tapering from Zoloft and starting Pristiq?

I’ve been on Sertraline (Zoloft) for almost 12 years, started with 50mg for several years, increased the dosage to 100mg a few years ago, then over the summer increased it to 150mg daily. Over the past few weeks, my anxiety has gotten progressively worse so I decided to talk to my doctor about it a... read more

I have had severe anxiety for about a week. I take 200mg of Zoloft and 0.5mg Ativan as needed.

Well, I have had to take 1 mg for 3 days now. I’m not sure if my Zoloft has not been working? Or it has just been extra stress on my mind. But I’m ready to give up. The anxiety seems to last forever. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated

I’ve been taking Zoloft for along time. This winter things have gotten a little crazy.

I have never stopped taking Zoloft but I had a breakdown and Covid and I have been having anxiety like crazy for weeks now. Does this mean it will probably take the whole 12 weeks to work again?
