Trospium - how may hours after the first pill should you allow?

I take 2 tablets a day 20 mg, 1 in the morning around 10 am and in the evening at 10 pm, but I don't have anything to eat after the 10 pm, how much time in between doses?

What other generics are there for Sanctura that are less expensive than Trospium 20mg. Twice a day?
