I am so anxious, bitchy and nervous that I can hardly stand myself. I used to take gabapentin, but it stopped working, lyrica made me retain tons of fluid and they took me off it. I can't go without it or the pain comes back, but I can't keep living and feeling like this.

I have only been on 100mg of Tegretol for 3 days and although it has taken the TN pain away completely, changed my moods to Mrs. Happy, removed my headaches completely, but I cannot sleep at all. I have been up for two and a half days now. This cannot be good. There has to be a better solution.

I have trigeminal neuralgia on both sides of my face and saw the post on gallixa. Has anyone used this with success? I realize everyone is different but I am out of options. Meds do not work and after two brain surgeries no further surgeries can be done.

I have had the decompression and gamma knife procedures done a year apart from each other. The dr is now saying maybe try the radiofrequency or the rhizotomy. Any suggestions? Nothing seems to work for me.
