Can I take gabapentin AS NEEDED for anxiety attacks?

Percocet - takes too long for medication to take effect in me, anyone else have this problem?
When I take any medication it takes 2 hours to start to take effect. I don't know anyone else who takes this long. It's especially a problem with pain medication because I only get 1.5 hrs of relief from 1 percoset! Does anyone have this problem? I really need a better way!
