I had an ileostomy this past February. My doctor said I should take Loperamide 2mg, up to 4 per day. Will Loperamide and Imodium 2 mg. work equally well for my situation?
Loperamide - Can I twist open the capsules and put the powder in applesauce to take this medication?

With an ileostomy, a lot of fluid is lost every day anyway. Will diarrhea be unmanageable? Since I have no colon, will stomach pains be worse than usual or not as bad?
