Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage - Can avoiding constipation help prevent severe angiodysplasia bleeding?

Posted 11 Dec 2009 by S.Hamm 1 answer

I am a healthy 60+female, who in the last 15 months experienced severe (2) GI bleeds. One physician says it is angiodysplasia, the other says perhaps diviticulitis. The last bleed, I was very constipated when the bleed occurred. Can avoiding severe constipation help prevent GI Bleeds? Thank you.
