Problem with Zoloft side effects?

I have been on Zoloft 5mg for 10 days and 25mg dosage for 4 days. I still experience a racing heart and sleeplessness Hard to deal with. I need help. Very anxious. I do take acetaminophen 2 tabs (500 mg) 3 x daily for arthritis.

I’ve been on mirtazapine 30mg for 40 nights. I’ve had some severe side effects…more anxiety...

... chills, sweats dizziness, weakness. My GP isn’t sure of the cause - the mirtazapine or the low dose of clonazepam I have to use during the day? Is it advisable to drop down to 1/2 tablet or 15mg as he has suggested to see if that would help? Going up was OK but I don’t know about reducing?
