I have been taking Deplin 15mg for 2 months. My face has red, burning rash on my cheeks and now a large cold sore has developed. Has anyone experienced this type of allergic sensitivity? I have been told many times by Doctor's tthat I am sensitive to medications.

My regular folate blood check showed it to be kind of high. The doctor didn't have a concern about that. I really want to try Deplin, I just don't want to raise L methylfolate too high. By the way, I'm trying it to see if it will help ocd and depression and maybe pms.

I am on Lamictal and Wellbutrin for Bipolar 2 disorder but stopped Lexipro several months back. Although, I have much more energy, the irritability that the lexipro was good for is coming back. I'm wondering if Deplin instead of PoDiaPN would help with this. Any thoughts??
