After 24 hr removing the Androderm patch I can feel medicine left in patch. Is it OK to make a small pin hole and squeeze out the remaining medicine and rub it on your skin?

I've been using 4mg androderm patch and VA switched to 1.62% androgel, 1 activation. Equivalent??I've been using the 4mg patch for 2 years and testosterone level is good. I just want to make sure the 1.62% single activation is the equivalent.

When I first put a patch on it has a squishy center like it is full of jelly. A day later it seems to be the same. I wonder, how you can tell if it is being absorbed or not? Seems like it should go flat or something???
