I have several areas of AK on my face. I applied Picato as instructed, washed off this morning, applied moisturizer. When I went to apply sun screen later, I noticed a good sized blister to left of my lip (lower cheek). Is this normal? Any recommendations? Should I discontinue treatment?

I have used Efudix before for actinic keratosis but can't remember at what stage you stop using it. I don't want to carry on for more time than needed. The lesion is returning in the same place(nose) as before ( two years ago.)

.My dermatologist is giving me a choice of fluorouracil or levulan/ blu-u treatment for AK. I have numerous small AKs on my face, and have had a couple of bcc's removed. I can tolerate downtime or discomfort, mainly I want the best result in the end. Any opinions appreciated.

My Dr has prescribed picato for my seborrheic keratosis. Although it is not made for this problem is usually used on actinic keratosis. She said it may not help but it will not cause harm. My keratosis do not seem to leave with any treatment that I have tried in the past, ex laser, freezing etc. ...

Normally .05% is for body use but dermatologist indicated that better results were achieved with stronger Picato with no downside.
