My 50 lb child was prescribed .25 mg of quetiapine. And 300 mg of quetiapine. He has never taking thus medication. Is this too much and all at once? I am to start this tonight at bedtime. I took 300 mg of this as an adult so I'm apprehensive about giving him 325 mg at once.
Doctors are trained in pharmacology and know the correct doses to prescribe for each individual and each individual's condition.
I'm barely 100 pounds and I take 900mg of Seroquel daily. If you have problems with the dosage it can always be adjusted.
Best wishes, WCV
