Photosensitivity is possible with Bactrim, about 1 in 10,000 people will experience photosensitivity which will cause your skin to be extremely sensitive to the sun and possible cause burns and rash. It depends on whether you are willing to take the risk. If you do decide to hit the beach, try to avoid being exposed to direct sunlight for a long time ( don't sleep on the sand in a bikini or a bathing suit for hours) and stay alert , if you start to experience any signs of photosensitivity then get out of direct sunlight.
