I understand that the normal prescription for this drug is 800/mg twice a day. But has anyone taken it at 400/mg twice a day for 7 days (kidney infection)? How did it work?
It's actually very important the dosage and length of time taken are strictly adhered to in order for it to work effectively. It comes with a specific warning about taking more or less than prescribed if you look it up.
I recommend not halving the dose unless your doctor agrees.
