I have been prescribed a few different creams and ointments, Talconex Ointment being the best so far, however it never completely clears it up, does it ever go away?
It's so painful to walk days at a time. Anyone else have it there and have any suggestions to help?
I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I've never seen it on the soles of feet. Psoriasis can clear, but it may come back. Have you seen a podiatrist about it? They may have a solution for it on the feet. Do you use a cushiony insole, like a gel or memory foam one.
I had a patient who had this. She lived in Florida and she told me the only thing that would clear it up was walking in the ocean water. If you dont live near the ocean, you could try using sea salt and water and soaking your feet in it-that would be the closest approximation to sea water.
Hi, I have had psoriasis for about 10 years now. I have tried countless prescription medications (including at taclonex) as I understand that is the solution you're currently exploring. Despite my reservations, a friend of mine who simply had dry skin recommended a natural cream remedy calls burdock root specifically a cream called "burrific heal all" manufactured by a Canadian company and I was able to purchase it on fromthemeadow.com. In a matter of weeks, my psoriasis which has never been affected positively by prescription medication has almost entirely disappeared with no trace. I highly recommend this natural approach as an option for you. It is inexpensive and all natural so you have nothing to lose. Hope this suggestion helps! Best, selma
