Pls help me I had a check up too it was clear but I am very anxious my mom says nothing's wrong ???
You're not going to die although anxiety makes you feel that way sometimes. The dr checked you, you're ok physically, so you have to try to believe that. Ask your Mom about getting you some melatonin for sleep. It's a normal chemical in our body, and is given to kids. Are you always anxious about things or is just this one thing? Its amazing how much better you feel after a good nights sleep.
Hi hun, i'm glad you have written in. Sorry you are having to deal with this... is there something that has happened that has made you feel this way? have you ever spoken to a counsellor? I had counselling when i was 13 because of anxiety of my own, and being able to talk through all of my fears definitely helped. You should find that once you are more relaxed with your fears you will be able to sleep better. Your doctor should be able to arrange this for you...
Oh sweetie. I'm sorry. Mine started at 13. I had no idea what was happening to me. Is your anxiety worse at night?
The suggestion about melatonin is a great one. She knows what's talking about too. Trust her.
But the best thing you can do at your age is talk to a counselor and learn the tools to overcome the anxiety and be able to see what triggers it so you can get it under control. Because I would never want to see someone your age on medication. Doing it the natural way seems best. You have to hang on to the facts. The fact is you ARE healthy. The racing thought is you aren't. Your body is reacting to the thought and that is causing scary symptoms you cannot control. I promise this can be helped. You are okay. :)
