I suffer from breath shortness in distant intervals, at most 4 times a year .It started when I was 19 and have been given medication such as Predinsone, Bisolvon linctus & adco alcophyllin and they worked effectively. Some doctors said I dont have asthma but just suffer lung infections from inhaIing pollted air. I have been prescribed to buy Budeflam 200(metered doses) today and the box says DO NOT STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE so now I'm afraid I'll create an unneccessary lifetime dependency on the inhaler. Is it neccessary to start using inhalers forever?? Please help

This may sound crazy but worth a try. Use your fingers to feel around your chest and side starting just below armpit. If you happen to find tender spots that hurt when pressed on then your short breaths could actually be caused by muscle constriction. The fact that the steroids works also points to that. If you do have that then friend and private message me and I can go into detail as to how to fix it. Don't worry it's free. Good luck
