long story short,in 2008 i got into a car accident in which i was given Vicodin,i started loving how it made me feel,i started taking it more and more,i moved up to Norcos 10Mg's. so basically ive been abusing these two for about 3 years, i went to Kaiser chemical dependency program and they gave me Suboxone,it says to take 2 tablets every 6 hours under the tongue, my questions are... is it alright if i waited to take the Suboxone less than 12 hours after my last Norco? will i start having withdrawal symptoms right away? and does this medication take all the withdrawal symptoms away? and how do i know if its working right? any help to clarify my confusion with these medication. thank you.
You must wait at least 24 hours AFTER your last vicodin use, before you start your sub treatment. You have to be in no less than moderate withdrawal and for many that is around the 24 hour mark. Is that what you're asking?
Have you taken any sub yet? If you're reading this post let us know where you are on your suboxone path, OK?

thank you guys for your support, the doctors at kaiser told me to wait till i started feeling withdrawal symptoms,i took my first suboxone and it got rid of all my symptoms,i take 2 tablets every 6 hours.i was worried that i may of took it too soon,i didnt feel any precipiated withdrawals as it said if i took the suboxone too soon this would happen,im stil kind off scared i took it too soon,i took it less than 24 hours after my last norco.the suboxone has made me feel really good, sometimes i start feeling the aches and pain in the legs and feet area. but i havent had any other symptoms. my question is,that if i dont take the suboxone every six hours wil i start feeling the withdrawals? Thank you guys for helping me out.
