I'm not sure of your pain. Buprenorphine is the opiate in Sub and it can kill some pain, but I'm not so sure it's right for you. That's up to your doc. Unless you also have a major opiate addiction or dependency going on, I would think using the Butrans patch would be best, with a strong opiate for BT pain. Buprenorphine isn't that strong but the dose never goes up due to tolerance forming. That makes the Butrans patch very good for long term pain. Different drugs help different people. You would just have to try it.
