... just gulping down a spoonful?
No sure what you are talking about, but occasionly I have to take milk of magnesia, & I hate the taste. A helprul hint is to squeeze your nose shut while swallowing , & keep a glass of water handy to rinse out your mouth right away. Holding your nose keeps you from tasting whatever it is that tastes so bad. Works for me. In fact I hold my nose shut until I am finished rinsing too for the after taste. Good luck, & hope this helps... Mary
This medication is available as a pill. Is there a reason you are taking the liquid?
Too bad about the taste. I hear you with that. Mary has a very good idea. A lot of my meds do not have a good taste. I down it as fast as I can. Lots of water.
As my grandmother used to say, "of course it tastes bad, it's medicine!" she was old style. Check with your doc to see if you can switch. Taking it is important from what I have seen, so hang in there. See what the doc says.
