Phone one of the clinical nurses at the Liver Clinic or ask your Doctor but I would say just continue on with the treatment as before.
Taking the missed medication will have no extra benefit and is not recommended in any treatment regime I am familiar with. They just tell you to take your missed dose as soon as you realize you have forgotten it and if it is almost time for your next dose just take that and continue on as normal. In your case it will be 4 days but you need to take just 1 Sovaldi and however much Ribavirin you are taking daily or twice daily (bodyweight dependent) and just continue on with the full treatment combination as normal. That is: keep taking the daily Ribavirin and your weekly Interferon shot (if due while you are away) and start the Sovaldi again when you get home.
You have not wasted the first month of treatment at all. The loss of four days of Sovaldi will just mean 4 days where your treatment was less effective than normal.
You will not be immune to Sovaldi due to the missing days; you will just have missed it. Your body will react to it exactly the same way it did when you first started taking it.
It is not dangerous for your body to stop and start, but if you regularly forget, you will compromise the effectiveness of treatment severely. The inclusion of Sovaldi is what makes this treatment combination so effective.
There are good reasons why Doctors in this treatment field insist on absolute compliance as it is to ensure the best possible chance of a good outcome given the cost.
Don't throw away the 4 pills as at the end of the three months of treatment, you may find you have enough medication (Ribavirin, Interferon and Sovaldi) left over to give yourself an extra week; or you might not.
In my case I was left with 3 weeks of Interferon and about 100 Ribavirin pills. I took the extra 3 weeks worth at the end of treatment.
