hi i am 50 years old female i stop taking my medications such as metformin and Lipton because i was told that if i do work out 5 days a week and do alot of sweating and watch my diet i wont need the medications any more is that true?

it was some of my freind she was on the same mads she stop taking them and she want for her blood work her doctor told her your sugar is very good and also your cholesterol what have you been doing? she told him that she go to the gym and do 1;20 mints of work out and she do alot of sweating and stay a way from carb so if i do the same thing do you think is going to work for me ? do you think the sweating help lower the sugar and cholesterol? thank you
