I've been taking two 1mg clonazepam daily for over a month and would like to stop taking it. Any suggestions on how to stop?
The best way to discontinue using clonezapam would be to slowly taper off the drug. Since you have only been on it for one month then it should not be too difficult. I would start by cutting the pill in half, which a half of pill would = 0.5 mg. Take the one half pill for 3 days. After 3rd day cut the remaining pills into quarters which would equal 0.25mg. Take 0.25mg for 3 more days. Hopefully at this point you should be complety weaned off of the clonazepam.
