I've been on clonazepam for 16 months & need help. I don't know the proper way to taper & my psychiatrist/Dr offices closed. I can't find a Dr office or therapist to take me because of my insurance, So I'm on my own :(
Hi, i was searching for myself, and noticed to one wrote you back, and felt i needed to. The most important thing is to slowly taper off, i mean, tiny pieces type of tapering. Never stop completely. Whatever meds you have left, taper, and keep what you cut off from the pill so you can do this as long as you can. I hope this helps.
I've been on clonazapam for 15 years ..1 mg twice a day. Tried to get off of it one time with my doctors help. He reduced me by 1/4 of a pill and I flipped out. It's really hard to do and I'm still not off of it. How can you just cut off a sliver of a pill and stay with the same amount everyday? All I know is please be careful and go very slowly. It does matter. Good luck to you..
