I had clear 100% , I just wanted to know can we stop methotraxate at any point of time??
My Dr recommended that I stay on MTX for two years once in remission. He explained that psoriasis functions in a way that if we can trick our body into remission (through the use of meds like MTX) than there is a possibility of staying in remission indefinitely. There are no solid yes or no answers with psoriasis, but I wouldn't quit just yet, even though its a miserable med to take!! And when you do decide to throw in the towel, my Dr also recommended cutting back the dosage month by month. I hope this helps!! Good luck- fingers crossed that you stay symptom free!!
