So I’ve officially been booted off my parents health insurance and because of my inconsistent health problems I can’t work full time. Therefore, I am now on MassHealth.
Since MassHealth doesn’t cover Lyrica (my dr. Office said they are still trying, but they usually don’t) I’ve had to stop my Lyrica abruptly.
I’ve been on it about a year, 450mg a day for about 3 months. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and ocular migraines. It’s been 3 days I can hardly eat a meal, have trouble falling asleep, mood swings, sweat ALOT and have diharrea/nausea. I’ve lost 6 pounds in 3 days.
I told my doctors office but they seemed annoyed and unconcerned. I have to work Monday-Wednesday and my doctors are not open tomorrow but I do plan to make a appointment.
Does anyone have any suggestions/tips for getting through withdrawal, as I can’t get to my doctors right away? And doesn’t anyone also have fibromyalgia and CFS and know a better treatment/medication option?
