Hi so I am a male with bad anxiety and have been on Zoloft for about 3 and a half weeks and I feel no worries, I feel somewhat better, but now I feel all brain foggy and I feel like everything is a dream and I'm scared and I want this to go away, this all started after I had a bad panic attack about 3 months ago, and I started to get very bad anxiety and I started to have derelazation and I decided to go get help and my physcolgogist put me on 50mg of Zoloft, I really need advice, should I stick with Zoloft for a couple more weeks??? please help
John; The way Zoloft works you have gotten through the worst part of adjusting to it, And more of these side effects that happen still with some people can take a bit longer to go away.I think it is best for you to stay on it and remember to take it at about the same time each day. Also the full blood level with Zoloft is between 6 and 8 weeks but many times you do start to feel better around 3 to 4 weeks but it is still at the point that you have not reached the full blood level and also your doctor may be able to adjust the dose up some to reach a better outcome. Try and stick with it for a while more.Or give your doctor a call and see if a dose increase is what you need to where you well feel better. Glad you got help as soon as you did. And sounds like you are handling the Zoloft pretty good so try and give it some more Time Chuck1957
