I don't think when a new drug is started the person should expect anything. If you think you will have the side effects, often you will. After you start it if you notice something or if you feel ok but want to check, then look up the drug. Zytiga has alot of side effects however that doesn't mean you will get them.
Compared with chemotherapy like Docetaxel the side effects of Zytiga are trivial. There is a long list of possible side effects on the manufacturers website but these affect only a small percentage of patients. Many people taking Zytiga do not have any of these side effects. The most common side effect is hot flashes which is a result of this anti hormonal therapy reducing testosterone levels.
