... my right foot. It comes on suddenly without warning and usually happens when I am resting. It does not happen at night. Its quite painful, so painful that I jump with the shock, feel the pain spreading across the top of my foot. It lasts from seconds to up to 2 minutes and I never know when it will happen. I've also experienced tingling in the toes, sharp pains in my right hand between forefinger and thumb, a coldness as if my feet are being bathed in an alcohol bath. This did not happen until I started taking levothyroxine.
