Why state starting on antabuse must begin greater than 12 hours after alcohol consumption after I told a patient 12 hours was adequate? I've researched it on this site and in 2 places only found this information: "Do not take Antabuse if you have consumed alcohol within the past 12 hours." I have no personal experience but we must be able to rely on what this site has available to use as reference material. Where is your information coming from? And why contradict me when the information I gave is from this site?
It's a bit of a no brainer that they have to have 0.00% blood alcohol level before they start. And you should realise we cannot link to external sites or risk just removal or a penalty probably for more senior members. I refused antabuse and quit a 29 year old daily drinking habit in 3 weeks (clocked up three years: 3 weeks ago)
