... the weekend is coming to an end. I get this overwhelming feeling that is difficult to explain. Other things I feel with this is anxiety, fear of being alone, (married with 2 children), emotional bouts of sadness that cause me to cry. I am hoping this medicine helps and wondering if anyone else out there experiences the same feelings and if this medicine helped you. I hate this feeling and just want to feel happy.
It sounds like you have a mix of depression and anxiety. Your symptoms are not uncommonon.
Trintellix used to be Brintellix. They repackaged it under a different name, Trintellix. Did you ask your doctor why he prescribed this med? It is know for nausea and gastrointestinal issues. It also failed three and passed one clinical trial for anxiety. Best to take with a full meal. There are many other meds with less side effects, like Celexa or Lexparo. Talk to your doctor about your options.
I hope someone out there has a success story to share with you.
If you have not done so you may want to have a full physical to rule out other sources of you symptoms. Hormones, glucose, thyroid, basically a full blood panel. Have you thought of therapy? Are you taking a multi-vitamin and on a healthy diet?
Hope you feel better soon.
Have you continued on with this med? If so how are you doing? I have been on it for almost 8 weeks and it's not working so great for me. I am not sure if I need a dose in dead or a different med. I have been on many over the past 20 years so, I feel like I'm running out of options.
Interested to see how you all are doing.
I'm on 10mg...
