Doctor, I started taking Yasmin on the 1st day of my period, and I stopped bleeding after the 1st day. Is that normal? Shall I keep taking the pills? Thank you.
I am not a Dr but I am a nurse very familiar with birth control pills as I used to work in a Family Planning clinic. This is normal. Keep taking your pills as they come in the pack. Your periods may be irregular for the first few months as your body gets used to the new hormones.
