I just started taking Viibryd a few days ago - my 1st use of any depression medication - and wanted to know if there are any adverse effects in using aspirin, ibuprofen, etc. with Viibryd?
Aspirin or ibuprofen used with Viibryd could cause some bleeding problems, more so with long term use. Use only small dosages occasionally with your Viibryd. It's alway best to ask your doctor about using any OTC medication with a prescription drug.
Acetominophen (Tylenol) would not be a problem.
Good luck with your Viibryd and depression. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions!
Best wishes, WC
Hi and welcome a-bob,
I am the Viibryd Queen and pleased to meet you. From the outset my Dr recommended Acetaminophen, as stated above by the very wise Pledge and WildCatVet. Please come back to the Viibryd group with any other questions or comments. Hope it's doing well for you so far.
