... not taking anything at all. I have read up on the med and it's potential side effects, but to be honest, this med, so far, has been a total waste of time and money. Any thoughts?
I agree! My doc put me on the same ones. They didn't do anything for me, then after a few weeks, I took it and I started getting flu like symptoms and I felt like I had tunnel vision. It was terrible. I took what I had left and gave them back to the doc. She then put me on OxyContin and that was my breakthrough drug. I agree with you, total waste of money and time because a lot of pharmacy's didn't carry them, so I had to go around town and then spend a lot of money on a crap drug. Waste!
My Dr put me on nucynta as well. I started on 50 mg four times daily then slowly increased my dose to 100 mg six times a day to build up tolerance after my surgery he lowered my dose. I was having dependency problems so now I am on 200 mg er twice daily with 75 mg for break thru pain.afyer a few days I am much better and off of the roller coaster of pain and nausea. I have been on several pain med in the past four yrs. And so far this one works the best for me.
