Hello. Sounds confusing. First call the doc and get a better explanation.
You would only be treated if you had something wrong with a blood test.
Second. The body makes this hormone. By getting more and you are not saying what size dose which is important, it will change how you feel. Like how sleepy you are or hungry or anxious or tons of things. This you can read about under the drugs section and webmd or similar site. But that is not important at this moment.
Have you taken the med? Call the doc office and find out what you are missing for information. This is not given lightly. It may be used to treat something else, perhaps. Talk to the doc or the nurse and get the scoop.
Once you have it you can ask related questions if you still have some.
And although it starts to work right away it takes the body weeks to adjust.
