I've had ADD since a kid but only ever treated it with antidepressants. Now 37 , It wasn't until I went back to college that the symptoms were too much to manage. Got my add testing and just started my Meds today. The doctor let me choose which med, so I picked adderall IR. They wanted to start me on a low dose to see how I do the go up from there. I'm starting on 10mg twice a day. Right away it feels like a weak dose, but I'm new. What should I be feeling? How do you know it's working? Is that dose too low?
Well everyone response different I would give it a week, at least, to see how you feel by then but don't increase the dose without talking to your doctor you must keep the doctor in the loop. hope by now or anytime now you should be able to notice a difference or you may have to go back to the doctor and just tell him its not doing anything for you. YOU well be the one to notice it before anyone you should get more calm and focused on what you are doing.
